DESIGNED AND MADE IN FRANCE. TRUSTED WORLDWIDE.

The Rhodia Orange Pad
First introduced in September 1934, the Rhodia orange pad has become one of the most recognisable writing pads in the world.
Its distinctive design, exceptional paper and practical features have made it a favourite among writers, designers, students and professionals for generations.

Why Orange?
When the Rhodia pad was introduced in 1934, most notepads were covered in plain kraft paper or simple cardboard — if they had a cover at all. Rhodia’s bright orange cover immediately set it apart.
The coloured card cover helped protect the pages while making the pad easy to recognise on a busy desk.
Over time, the orange cover has become synonymous with Rhodia itself.

A Design That Stands the Test of Time
When the Rhodia pad was introduced in 1934, its distinctive orange cover and innovative design quickly set it apart.
Over nine decades later, the Rhodia philosophy remains unchanged: beautifully simple design paired with exceptional paper quality.
The result is a notepad that feels just as relevant today as it did when it first appeared more than ninety years ago.
