Made by Schut in the Netherlands, Clairefontaine's 100% alpha pure cellulose imitation Japan paper has a beautiful, warm ivory colour and bright hue. Its very fine and smooth surface makes it particularly suitable for printing the finest details. This paper is ideal for letterpress printing (engraving, linocut) or flat printing techniques such as screen printing and monotype. This 130 gsm version is well suited to engraving, screen printing and monotype techniques. It is a nice alternative to Japanese papers. Simili Japon paper makes it possible to guarantee the longevity of the works: acid-free, pH neutral and with an alkaline reserve to withstand ageing.
